Terms of Service

CableVault is a software-as-a-service platform that lets low voltage contractors store, organize and deliver project closeout documentation, including certification reports, fiber test results, as-built drawings, photographs, warranties and O&M manuals, and share that documentation with their own customers through a read-only portal.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for all activity under your account, and for keeping sign-in credentials confidential. You must notify us at support@cable-vault.com of any unauthorized access.

Company administrators may invite team members. Administrators are responsible for the conduct of users they invite and for removing access when a team member leaves.

New workspaces may start a 14-day free trial on any plan. A payment method is collected at sign-up and is not charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts automatically to a paid monthly subscription at the plan price then shown in the app. You may cancel at any time during the trial from Billing.

Plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude taxes unless stated otherwise; applicable sales tax, VAT or GST is calculated and added at checkout. Plan changes take effect immediately and are prorated on your next invoice.

Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email, effective at your next renewal.

Each plan includes a maximum number of active projects and an amount of secure storage. Projects in New, In Progress, Pending or Completed status count as active. Archived projects do not count toward the limit and remain available to you and to your customers. When a limit is reached you may archive a project or upgrade your plan.

You retain all rights to the documents, images and data you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display that content solely to operate the service for you and the customers you invite. You confirm you have the rights necessary to upload the content and to share it with your customers.

You may not use CableVault to store or distribute unlawful content, malware or material that infringes another party's rights; attempt to breach or probe security or access another workspace's data; resell the service without our written agreement; or use the service in a way that impairs it for others.

We aim to keep the service continuously available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is performed with as little disruption as practical. Support is provided by email at support@cable-vault.com.

We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, material breach of these terms or unlawful use, with notice where reasonably practical. You may terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account from Settings. On deletion, your workspace data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. CableVault is a documentation tool and is not a substitute for your professional judgment, testing obligations or any code, standard or contractual requirement applicable to your installations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Consumers retain all mandatory statutory rights.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
